Penryn has long been home to an ever-evolving community of creatives and makers, artists and growers, and our Grays Wharf taproom, open every week from Wednesday to Saturday, is lucky enough to be nestled right in the heart of this inspiring place.

Set cosily inside a historic granite block wharf on the edge of the Penryn River, surrounded by the building’s own resident makers and creatives, it’s natural and reclaimed materials, exposed stone, beautifully bumpy mix of locally made and reclaimed furniture create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We have a courtyard oasis to enjoy sunny summer afternoons with a cool beer, or wrap up warm and join us under the stars for our evening street food pop-ups throughout the year.

We always have our keg beer on tap, and usually at least one cask, conditioned to perfection.

Dynamite Valley is not just about beer though – it’s also about community, and we like to support our fellow Cornish producers wherever possible, so alongside regular guest beers from other independent Cornish breweries, we also offer small producer Cornish ciders, Cornish spirits, Cornish “low and no” options, and Cornish soft drinks too. The shorter the mileage the better, and many of our offerings come directly from the local area in and around Penryn and Falmouth.
