Our Penryn Tap Room, located right beside the Penryn River, is open every week from Wednesday to Saturday. Occupying an old granite block wharf on the Fal estuary, the exposed stone, wooden tables and traditional furniture create a warm alehouse atmosphere. There’s also a courtyard where you can enjoy the summer heat with a cool beer.
We’ll always have our beer on tap, and almost always a barrel of our real ale, conditioned to perfection. And it’s not all about beer – we have Cornish cyder, spirits and soft drinks too, even wine if that’s what you fancy. So, there’s something for everyone!

A HIDDEN GEM
Nestled at the bottom of Penryn our tap-room welcomes families with kids or dogs and is a safe place for both. Snuggle up on our cushioned sofas or sit back in one of our large armchairs and play one of our many boardgames. There’s even a gorgeous sun-trap of a courtyard to enjoy a refreshing beer in the summer.
FOOD
On Friday’s and Saturday’s we usually have a local street-food vendor on site – please check our Facebook or Instagram page for updates. On those days we don’t have a food vendor, feel free to bring your own food, and have a picnic at the bar!
